EYM Trio is now about to release a fourth album, Bangalore, recorded in quartet with the brilliant vocalist and flutist from India: Varijashree Venugopal. Bangalore is the capital city of Karnataka, south of India. It’s where EYM Trio met Varijashree few years ago. This record is all about friendship, spontaneity and musical connexion, it sounds like the result of several years connected to India. Thought as a crossover between EYM Trio’s Jazz and Carnatic culture that Varijashree brings, going across the boundaries of the two cultures. A fifth album in trio is already recorded and will be launched early 2024.
